Violence Transformed is an annual series of visual and performing arts events held at the Massachusetts State House and other venues throughout Greater Boston.
Through Violence Transformed, urban youth have exhibited their work with that of established artists; survivors have seen state representatives and public policy makers bear witness to their experience; and people in one community after another have experienced the power of art to unearth the causes of violence, confront its impact and imagine alternatives.
